Three quarter leather with brown pebbled boards (has one tiny chip to rear exterior lower board). Appears to be original binding. Corners are well worn and gently bumped with front cover being rubbed/soiled overall. Gilt spine titles still bright. Crown and foot of spine cloth worn and just starting to fray. Interior pages are clean and tight, no markings at all (except for a light pencil name in copperplate script on blank front free-end-paper.) A Nineteenth Century (and amazing) Glossary of Medical Terms and an Index a rear. Fabulous and hard to find early title.
