First published edition. 8vo up to 9½" tall. 332 pages Illustrated with colour plates of Carr's paintings. Green cloth boards with white titles front and spine. Volume is in fine condition except for 2 tape residue marks free endpaper. Dust jacket has waving front and tape residue inside flap.

The journals begin in 1927, when Emily Carr made her first trip to eastern Canada to meet the members of the Group of Seven. and was immediately claimed as one of them."
