London: Eyre & Spottiswode, 1941. Second Edition . Cloth Bound Boards. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1941 Second edition. Size octavo, 311 pages including index. Brown cloth with gilt titles to the spine, with dust jacket. Book condition very good, corners and spine ends bumped, lower edge of spine sunned where jacket is torn, previous owner's name to front end-paper, spots to page edges and first and last few pages else contents clean. Dust jacket condition good, corners and edges rubbed, some rubbing to panels, some creasing, an inch at the base of the spine is missing, spine faded, not price clipped. An examination and record of the events of the significant year 1936
