True first printing with full number line down to and including 1.Grey paper covered boards with gilt to illustration on front panel and type on spine. Wear to spine and board ends. Dinged top rear corner. Small scar to top of front endpapers where extra glue from printer squeezed out. Board ends faded. Unclipped jacket has rubbing/wear especially at corners and spine ends with nicks and a short 1/2 inch tear to top of spine and very small moisture stain to bottom of spine - Very Good -.
Synopsis
The Hunger Games (2008) is a young-adult science fiction novel written by Suzanne Collins. It was originally published in hardcover on September 14, 2008 by Scholastic. It is the first book of the Hunger Games trilogy. It introduces sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world where a powerful government called the Capitol has risen up after several devastating disasters.

I feel this is a very overrated series. If Gale was a GAIL nobody would care about it. It also focused way too much on the violence.
