This scarce book has blue cloth covered boards with bumped corners and heavy general wear, minimal fraying of spine tips. It appears to have received repairs, new front endpapers, missing rear free end paper, binding glued to last page. A child has drawn a picture on rear pastedown. Light spotting of pages and minimal foxing ; A tight solid book. Undated but appears to be circa 1910-1925. At the bottom of the chapter numbers appears the number 1923. Faint pencilled gift notation, might read Aug 19, 1914 or 1924 ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 316 pages; B&W frontispiece + 3 B&W plates, possibly missing plates .
