This is from Queen's Quarterly, Winter 1955. Robert Charles Wallace was Lecturer and Professor of Geology, University of Manitoba 1910 - 1928; President of the University of Alberta 1928 - 1936, and Vice Chancellor and Principal of Queen's University at Kingston 1936 - 1951, when he retired. This offprint of an article which he wrote during his last illness and which was published short before his death in 1955 was sent to all graduates of Queen's University and some others. A great educator confronts the pessimist, the cynic and the agnostic with an unrepentant optimism.... First Printing - First Thus. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo.
