London: Longmans, Green & Co, 1900. First Edition. Very Good+. first issue, octavo, 409 pages, with 32 pages of ads at rear, dated "7/00." Publisher's dark red cloth binding, printed in gilt, black end papers. Frontis portrait of General Ian Hamilton, folding map at rear and 9 other maps and plans in the text. One of only 5000 copies printed; internally clean and bright, with no markings of any kind. Very minor wear at extremities, cloth has good color, lightly faded at head of front panel. The second half of Churchill's Boer War despatches.
