Robert Woodruff (the president of Coca Cola) created Ichauway Plantation in Baker Country, Georgia, in 1929. This large plantation of approximately 36,000 acres was used for wild turkey, quail, and dove hunting as well as bass fishing. This story of the plantation is profusely illustrated from photographs, with color plates and a color map of the plantation grounds.

Presentation card, "Compliments of" the publisher, laid in. Lavish privately printed history of Woodruff's Baker County, Georgia, game plantation, with descriptions of its wild turkey, quail, and dove hunting, and with some bass fishing. An uncommon southern wild turkey book, decidedly scarce with the slipcase and presentation card. Fine. Gilt-stamped two-tone decorated fabrikoid, publisher's slipcase. (2823).

No Place Atlanta Ga: Privately Printed, (1974). First Edition. Hardcover. Fine. 106p quarto illustrated by Keats Petree who has drawn the wild fowl and Athos Menaboni, who has drawn the more exotic birds. Petree has signed th book twice and laid in a photograph of himslef with his daughter and isigned it "Keats Petree artist for Ichauway" Menaboni has signed the book 7 times at his art work. The book was purchased from the estate of John Ridley. Charles Elliott was a close friend of Woodruff and inscribed the book to John Ridley (?) Laid in is a 9 line typed letter from Woodruff to Ridley thanking him for an antique advertisement Ridley had framed for him. This book was commissioned by Woodruff who initially purchased the 29,000 acres that would be called Ichauway Plantation and was a working farm and where he invited close friends including Eisenhower to shoot quail. A fine copy in a fine slipcase. Woodfruff has affixed two calling cards below his engraved bookplate.
