The folio size newspaper is in very good condition, some few short spine creases, a light brown line at the spine edge where it was exposed to air, very light soiling to the covers, 30 pages, 11 1/2" by 16". Illustrated with photographs and drawings. The large cover picture is of Marshal Mahmud Shevket Pasha just appointed Grand Vizier standing on the wharf at the Dolmabaghche Palace with boats and ships in the background. Other items: full page drawing of a scene from Stauss's "Der Rosenkavalier", G.K.Chesterton full page editorial, story of a bronze dug up in a field in Sutri near Rome of Ephebus. Great newspaper. .
