The Illustrated Man by Bradbury, Ray - 1997

New York: Avon Books, 1997 Bradbury (1920-2012) apparently didn't like the term Sci-Fi and preferred 'fantastical and unreal'. No one should argue with one of the most popular authors of the 20th and early 21st century. The Illustrated Man was written in 1951; it is a collection of short stories that defies description, typical Bradbury. The sale item is a re-issue, the stated first Avon Books printing from June 1997 with a number line reading 10 9 8 7 6 5 4. Light brown paper boards with dark brown paper at spine; gold lettering on spine only. The book is published with a new introduction by the author. There is what appears to be a signature by the author on the front free end page but I have no way of verifying authenticity. Binding is tight, square, clean and bright with no flaws. Unclipped dust jacket has no flaws.
