Overseas editions of the paper on lighter paper, with the term "Foreign Postage" and "Registered at the General Post-Office for Transmission Abroad" printed on the masthead. The volume is illustrated throughout with black and white wood-engravings, single and double page, and with numerous fold-out supplements. Two of the twenty five "Extra Supplements" listed in the index are not present: one of Bishop Coleman and one of Reynard's Holiday. Pages 543-546 appear never to have been bound in; pages 601-612 are bound slightly out of order. Two inch triangular tear to sheet 509/510. Several of the papers were apparently folded at one stage, and there is occasional light creasing, but overall the issues are in very good condition. Light foxing to endpapers.
