No Place of Publication.: Scotland. 1861.. 6 engraved plates, unpaginated, elephant folio (17 1/4 x 12 inches), gilt embossed cloth-covered boards (hardbound). Very good condition; light rubbing to extremities, corners bumped, tiny splits to top of spine, front hinge cracked, moderate foxing, a few pages creased at corners. Includes songs "Ca' the Yowes to the Knowes", "My Heart's in the Highlands", "Last May a Braw Wooer", "The Lea-Rig", and "Logan Braes". The gilt decorative cover design features thistles. A handsome, decorative gift for a friend of Scotland! .

Edinburgh, Printed For The Members Of The Royal Association For The Promotion Of The Fine Arts In Scotland. 1861 1st thus. Large hardback, approx 17 x 12 inches. In green pebbled cloth covers with embossed paneled boards and decorative gilt vignette lettering to front. Pale yellow endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to cover on corners and ends of spine, else clean smart cover. Endpapers clean, cracked between inner hinges. No penned inscriptions. Some minor darkening to edges and rear sides of plates, else overall clean and bright, all tissue guarded. One or two minor handling marks. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 14pp. Illustrated with 6 B&W engraved plates including portrait after Nasmyth.
