Bookplate of Marcellus Schlimovich on inside boards. Stamp of the "Sociedad Hebraica Argentina/Colecolon M. Schlimovich at last leaf. Brunet I, 1226; Gay 233; Colas 1219; Lipperheide 1579; Barbier I. <br> The Engravings of Africans and scenes from Africa in this edition were later used in Shoberl's Africa volumes of Acherman's The World in Miniature series, published in 1821. <br><br> Additional provenance: "Marcelo "Marcellus" Schlimovich arrived in Argentina before World War II.
