n.p., 1979. First edition. Mann, Sally. 4to., unpaginated, with 13 original color and b&w silver gelatin photographs mounted or tipped-in, including the mounted photograph on front wrapper. Spiral bound stiff wrappers. Near fine. "Image Continuum Journal 4, published in September, 1979, is in an edition of 100 copies, none of which are offered to the public at large. Rather, they are distributed back to the artists whose work composes the issue." The contributors to this issue are: David Bayles, Ted Organ, Sally Mann, Chris Johnson, Rosamond Purcell, Ansel Adams, Viki Lang, Robert Langham, Margaretta Mitchell, Jerry Uelsmann, Don Worth, et al. Edited by Sally Mann and Ted Orland. The original photos in this issue are by Ted Orland (cover), Bernis von zur Muehlen (signed), Terence Roberts (signed), Jerry Uelsmann, Ted Orland (signed), Karen Porteus, Sally Mann (signed), Frank DiPerna, Mark Weston (signed), Frank Parsons, Vicki Lang (signed), Peter von zur Muehlen (signed), and Chris Johnson (signed). This short-lived journal of only 4 issues, ceased publication in 1979.
