Van Horne was the builder of the Canadian Pacific Railway. a scarce and important account of the dispersal of an important estate that, in my opinion,should never should have taken place. Much later the N B government would buy Minister's Island , the house and outbuildings and make an attempt to locate some of the items scattered by the auction..
