Baltimore (i.e. Florence): Privately printed, 1906. First Edition. Very good. 4to (255 x 190 mm). vii, 522 pp., 1 f. (colophon). Color frontispiece, 1 plate, numerous reproductions in the text, partly printed in black and red. Bound by C. Tartagli in original polished light-brown calf, spine with three raised bands, three straps extending onto front and back covers, terminating in three raised "Gothick" fleurs-de-lis. Glit lettering on spine and front cover, top edges gilt, others uncut (trifle wear at binding extremities). The elaborately produced catalogue, on handmade paper, printed and bound in Florence, of Henry Walters' fifteenth century books, most of which he acquired from Olschki in a spectacular en bloc purchase of 1,200 incunabula in 1902. This is the only catalogue of the collection. From the famed library of B.H. Breslauer (sale of the Bibliotheca Bibliographica Breslaueriana, Third Portion, 2005, lot 1275)
