1915.. TWO black and white advertisements for Indian Motocycles, sheets 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches, published in 1914 and 1915 Sunset magazines. Very good condition. One advertisement features the "Two-Sixty Standard Model", while the other features the "1915 Indian Big Twin - One Speed $225, Two Speed $260, Three Speed $275" and lists the Nine Pre-eminent Innovations for the year. .

[Springfield, MA: Indian Motocycle Co.], Jan.-Feb., 1945. 4to. 15, [1] pp. Numerous black & white photo illustrations, text diagrams. Self-printed photographic softcovers (slight shelfwear), still NF copy. First edition of this scarce installment of the in-house magazine for Indian Motorcycles, and motorcycle enthusiasts, which features excellent articles such as the second part of an Indian rider’s experiences building airfields in North Africa during World War II, as well as an excellent article on the development of the Eliason Motor Toboggan during World War II, featuring an Indian 45 CID engine, featuring a steering wheel cable controlled skis and tubular frame construction, with tread drive. The Indian Motorcycle Co. began as the Hendee Manufacturing Co., and then changed the name to the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Co. in 1928, and went bankrupt in 1953. Eventually Polaris purchased the rights to the name and moved the manufacturing facilities to Minnesota and Iowa, and revived the famed brand.

First edition of this scarce installment of the in-house magazine for Indian Motorcycles, and motorcycle enthusiasts, which features a nicely printed colour lithograph catalogue of the full line-up of Indian Motorcycles including the “Thirty-Five,” “Forty-five,” Dispatch-Car, Deluxe Sidecar, Express Sidevan, the Wartime “Three-Forty-Four,” and others. The Indian Motorcycle Co. began as the Hendee Manufacturing Co., and then changed the name to the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Co. in 1928, and went bankrupt in 1953.
