The illustrations without the text of the comprehensive family history of the Heapes of Heape, Staley, Saddleworth and Rochdale, and with the pedigrees that appeared within the text leaves of the original book omitted. Privately printed at the Cambridge University Press,1926, small 4to, pp.x, (2),358, photo frontis of the entrance to Healey Hall. Original buckram, Hand-made paper, top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Very good condition. It is believed that only 100 copies were printed. Inside the front cover is Richard Heape's bookplate and on the endpaper is an inscription from Harold Heape. Loosely inserted is a pamphlet by Richard Heape on " Some Examples of Dated Buildings within the Ancient Parish of Rochdale" 1922.
