About This Item
This silent actress appeared in films alongside Hoot Gibson, William Desmond and survived the transition to "talkies, becoming a popular actress of the '30s and '40s in numerous cliffhangers; she appeared as "Girl" in the original "King Kong." Unusual IPS, 10" X 8", n.p., n.d. Fine. Modern print of an early portrait of Gulliver behind the wheel of a snazzy early convertible, inscribed in a light area at lower right to "Linda & Marshall / Sincerely -- / I'm in my new / Packard and am I proud! / (1927 / I think) Dorothy Gulliver." A great example.
