New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1976. First edition, 1976. Well-illustrated to art glass from the late nineteenth century to around 1940, describing and illustrating the work of such noted artists as Galle, Tiffany and Lalique, as well as many lesser-known artists. Fully indexed, with biographical details about more than 250 designers. Includes 357 plates, thirteen in color. Blue cloth lettered in gilt, 264 pages, printed dustjacket. The book has some light rubbing to the spine tips and corners, otherwise looks and feels about new, with no names or other markings. Mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some light edgewear, mainly rubbing with a few very tiny chips and closed tears. Very clean and sound copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
