Ipswich: W Vick, 1890. Half-Leather. Good/No Jacket (as published). 11" x 8. Two volumes of late 19th century photographs of the town of Ipswich in Suffolk taken by the pioneering photographer W Vick. In half leather bindings with ribbed spines and gilt lettering. Marbled ends papers and gilt page edges. Clean and sound, there is some foxing, but generally the illustrations have suffered less than the descriptive text. Both volumes have wear to the leather of the bindings externally, Vol II less so than Viol I. There are book plates of previous owners inside the front boards.
