Hard cover in very good condition with teal cloth boards showing light aging, title in blue panel on spine with gold gilt lettering. Text block clean & tight with no writing or markings to note. Mellow age toning to the papers, one spot of age / discoloration. Side text block slightly age toned & dust dulled. Contains four color plates (all present). 155 numbered pages which include an extensive Index. Following the Index are 48 leaves, 98 pages, of glossy Monochrome plates of Irish Glass, numbered and identified in detail on pages following the TOC. Dust jacket very good with age toning and dust dulling to the white sections, edge wear, and tiny chips at head of spine. On front jacket flap there is written in ink next to author's name, ""died 2-2-85."" No other writing noted. Is not price clipped. Original price: 6.00 pounds net. * From the book, ""This is the first major work to be published since 1920 dealing exclusively with Irish glass. It is concerned with glass made between 1780 and1830, when the original Waterford Glass house won its world-wide reputation.""
