Text in English or French; Introduction in both languages. Publication of the proceedings of a conference held in Ironbridge, Shropshire, England, from October 22-25, 1984. It was organized by ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and the Restoration of Cultural Property) in cooperation with The Ironbridge Gorge Museum. 25 scholarly essays were presented and are presented herein.
