Offered as the entire series of the Dusty Ayres books as issued by Corinth Regency in 1966, reprinting fantastic stories of a near-future war, first published in the 1930's pulp magazine. Comments on each book follow (my highest rating is near fine, as no used book is perfect). Black Lightning has a 2 inch faint cover crease (actually more of a partial bend, the surface is not cracked), a tiny spot of red on the front cover bottom edge, appears unread, and is near fine. Crimson Doom has small bumps to the spine bottom and one corner, very minor spine edgewear, appears unread, and is near fine. Purple Tornado is close to flawless, appears unread, and is near fine. New York: Daw Books 1st Editions 1979-1990 ----------13 paperbacks, in the Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories series. From 1979 to 1992, Daw published this series of 25 volumes, with each volume containing the "great" stories published in a particular year, starting with 1939 (volume 1), and ending with 1963 (volume 25). This is a great series, and the stories published are absolute classics with many award-winners. Offered here are 13 of those 25 volumes, missing volumes 8, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 & 25. All 13 volumes are first edition paperback originals, there are no reprints. Most volumes are Canadian printings, and on some of them the number string on the copyright pages starts at 2, and that indicates a first Canadian edition, simultaneous with the first US edition, and thus true first editions. There are no US printings with the number string starting at 2. The condition of the books ranges from VG to unread fine, with most being VG+.. First Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good+. Note: our prices on Biblio are the LOWEST of any of the sites on which we list our books.
