Worcester, MA: Isaiah Thomas, Jr., [1812]. Original Wrappers. 12mo. [48] pp. Removed from nonce volume, page edges trimmed. Paper is toned but supple; light staining and wear. A relatively nice copy of an early almanac by one of America's most important printing houses. Woodcut on the front wrapper and occasionally throughout. Contains woodcut, “The Anatomy of Man’s Body,” a lengthy note on seed selection, another on crop rotation, as well as a wonderfully useful “Summary of the method of treatment to be used with persons apparently dead from drowning, &c.” Shaw & Shoemaker 25727.
