Harper and Brothers. Fair with no dust jacket. 1875. Hardcover. One volume. Hard cover published by Harper and Brothers in 1875. No dust jacket. Green covers with gilt borders and design of a camel train on front and gilt lettering and design on spine. Covers have some staining and scuffing, spine has some tears along both front and rear sides, and ends of spine are worn and frayed. Corners of covers are bumped and worn, with the cloth splitting and some fraying. Covers have edge wear, with the cloth splitting in some spots. Front inner hinge is partially split. Some pages have foxing or spotting. Several pages in front of book are loose from the binding at top. Some pages are stained along side edges. Pages have some tanning. Maps include a color map of the route and a foldout color map of the Albert N'Yanza and Baker's routes. Several pages have markings in pencil. Book is in fair condition. 542 pages, 3.3 lb.; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 542 pages .
