About This Item

(Kansas City: Grafik Archive, 2000. Orosz, István. Octavo. 39ff., frenchfold. One of 300 copies. This edition was printed for a Danish exhibit of Orosz's work. The Hungarian-born poster artist combines Escher-like graphics with classical influences, evident in this collection of his theater and political posters, and etchings. Small envelopes and glassine bags contain pieces of text in this complimentary mixed-media design by Lance Barton's Grafik Archive Press. Spiral bound in plain boards, which unfold to allow the book to stand, and housed in a cardboard envelope-style slipcase. Very fine.
