Buenos Aires: Emece Editores, 1964. 493pp. Original wraps. Text in Spanish. With abundant explanatory notes on foot of page. This book basically deals with the action of Dominican during the conquest and the Spanish reinforcement in South America. Of great interest it is the documentary appendix, that occupies half of extension of the book and that gathers rare documents of the centuries. XVI to the VIII. Pages are clean (no writing, underlining, or highlighting). Sewn binding is cracked but pages are still secure. Hinges are splitting (and glue is showing) but still attached. Covers and pages are foxed. Tipped in folding/drop-down map still present. Shelfwear (heavy rubbing/bumping/faint creasing to extremities, chipping to heel of spine). This is not a remainder or ex-library. No previous owner markings. Nice reading copy. . First Thus, Collectible. Soft Cover. Fair +/No Jacket as Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
