Springfield: J. Babeuf, 1881. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Octavo. [4] pages advertisements on pink and yellow pages, 230 pages, [4] pages of advertisements. Dark brown cloth hardcover with gilt stamped advertisements on the covers. Gilt illustrated advertisement on the back cover. Front and rear paste downs are advertisements. The cloth is chipped head and base of the spine. Corners worn. The front and rear hinges are lightly cracked. No map with this copy. Previous owner name of Orendorff & Creighton (a law firm) written on the front paste down, right front flyleaf, and initials O & C written top of page 5. Scarce. Two copies located in OCLC (New York Historical Society, Univ. Michigan).
