Quarto, [26] mimeographed pages printed on card, with numerous illustrations (including 2 full-page hand-coloured illustrations, and a hand-coloured pictorial title to one poem). Overlapping pictorial wrappers. 'This little paper is, with kind assistance, the loving effort of the "Old Girls" of a small school. May it do its part on Australia Day. A.M. Parsons, Wooroonook, Strathfield' (at the foot of the second-last page). Alice Mary Parsons was the wife of Frederick William Parsons (1852-1933), an Alderman on Strathfield Council from 1890 to 1914, and Mayor in 1895-97. 'Parsons lived at "Wooroonook" in Elwin St, Strathfield, where his wife ... operated a girls day school also called "Wooroonook"' (Strathfield Heritage website). Alice Parsons, nee Fuller, was a sister of the artist Florence Ada Fuller (1867-1946).
