Signed by artist Janet Lambert-Moore in the year of publication. Areas of spotting... Five of his novels are set in Lowell and his writings are part of the City’s cultural heritage....Janet Lambert-Moore has been an active part of the Lowell arts scene since the 1950's. Taking classes at the Whistler House in the late 1940's, she started on a path of art creation that has spanned over 60 years. Her oils, watercolors, pen and ink drawings, and murals can be found in collections and public buildings throughout the city of Lowell and beyond. She is a lifetime member of the Lowell Art Association, Inc. Before pursuing her art career, Janet was an art teacher at Dracut High School for over 10 years. Janet has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Painting and Illustration, and a MEd. from State College at Salem.

Lowell, MA: Unknown, 1988. First Printing. Single Sheet. Mint. A fine-art print, 11" x 17", featuring a beautiful illustration of the commemorative monument to Jack Kerouac in his hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts from the time of its dedication in June, 1988. This copy is signed by the artist, Janet Lambert-Moore, & dated by her 6-25-88, below her printed signature. From the collection of the late James Perrizo, Beat scholar, collector & at one time the assistant to Edie Kerouac Parker, Jack's former wife. Perrizo almost certainly attended & purchased this item at this event. A very rare & important Kerouac item in mint condition.

Item is currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrink wrap, will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube.
