Text block FINE: text block MINT BUT: deckled fore edge has a spots of age browning. . Spotless contents, even the pastedowns as white as new. Ilustrated with several plates, some with tissue guards, and a few in text illustrations. FINE fold out familty tree at page 293. FINE fold out map at book's end. Gilt top edge seems as bright as new. Fore & bottom edges deckled. Bottom edge spotless, fore almost as good. Lastly, book stays closed when stood on its spine. Flaws confined to covers. (1) Neat bkplt inside cover. (2) Blue cloth with lightly bumped tips & scuffed spine ends. Geneseo is just south of Rochester, NY. Laid in a long (about 50 column inches) news artical, on Wadsworth & his family, from the Rochester newspaper "THE UNION AND ADVERTISER". It is dated June 1, 1887. Somebody kept this artical for decades before putting it in the book. .
