London: Victor Gollancz, 1947. First Edition. Cloth Bound Boards. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1947 first edition. Size octavo, 8" tall, 579 pages. Green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, with the dust jacket. Book condition good, corners and spine ends rubbed, light shelf wear, a few light spots to pages edges and first and last few pages, previous owner's name and address to the front end-paper otherwise the contents are clean. Dust jacket condition good, corners and spine ends chipped with slight loss, 3cm tear without loss to top edge of front panel, light shelf wear, not clipped but no price is stated.
