New York/ Tokyo: Weatherhill/Heibonsha, 1975. First edition. Hardcover. 186 pages. Translated and adapted by Joseph P. Macadam. Includes numerous color and black and white illustrations. A close to near fine copy with some slight splitting to the rear hinge in a very good plus dust jacket with some minor wear. An interesting copy with a gift inscription from Japanese ceramic artist Hiroshi & Miyoko Ogawa presenting this book "To Mr & Mrs. Michener November, 1975.
