Japan.: No publisher.. 1959.. Calendar for 1960, 12 brightly coloured hand-stenciled designs on mulberry paper, loosely inserted in a card folder with decorative title label. Sheets are approximately 14 1/2 x 11 inches. Each month features a striking seasonal design. Crease to upper right edge of first two sheets, overall in very good condition in lightly worn and toned folder. Very similar to the calendar designs produced by Keisuke Serizawa with designs that are particularly striking in design and in their rich coloration. The design of each sheet incorporates the days of each month - the name of each month appears on each sheet, but the year is only shown on the first month. October features a stylized series of kokeshi dolls. .
