Folio. Errata laid-in. Hardcover. Publisher's original black raw silk over boards, silver lettering to leather spine label. Book Condition: Spine and approx. an inch of top edges of cover faded, spine label chipped. Interior pristine lacking the jacket. A nice association inscribed by author to Martin Gutzwiller, the famed physicist responsible for the Gutzwiller wavefunction among other things. Gutzwiller was a well known book collector whose collection was sold at auction in 2014. A lavish production of sound scholarship and bookcraft. [Not to be confused with the 1983 Abbeville reprint].
