The five volumes include "Javanese Texts in Transcription," "Notes on the Texts and the Translations," "Translations," "Commentaries and Recapitulation," and "Glossary, General Index." work provides a history of the island of Java, an island of Indonesia that served as the core of the colonial Dutch East Indies, and was at the centre of Indonesia's campaign for independence.
