Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good+; light wear on tips, head, and tail from shelving. No DJ as issued. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. Tinted textblock top. Frontis portrait of Thomas Wildey. 645 pp 8vo. Andrews wished to do something to help the other fellow. By reducing to writing the thoughts which he had about the principles of Odd Fellowship, and the history and practices of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, he desired to give some bit of pleasure or some serious thought that will benefit others. It was his hope that his experience as a member of the Order taught him something the record of which will be of benefit to others.17 Chapters plus an appendix that seeks to explain the heart of being an Odd Fellow.
