The copyright page lists two separate editions of which it is not clear that this copy is from: the second Impression of the Presentation Edition, and the sixth impression of the People's Edition. The spine is darkened and worn at the top and bottom. Also writes as Lord Tweedsmuir. Book about George V--King of England. (History--England).

This is the first edition of a scarce book that gives an insight into colonial administration in British Somalia early 1900s. Book finishes with an account of author's dealings with the Mad Mullah (1919). That Was the first occasion on which the RAF was used for colonial policing. Group Captain Gordon led a squadron of twelve De Havilland DH9s, transported on HMS Ark Royal. Book is in GOOD plus condition with 12 plates. The frontispiece is tissue-protected. Note rubbing on spine.
