A quality Franklin Library book printed on acid free paper, with silk moire end-papers and ribbon marker bound in. First edition thus. A title published in a limited edition as part of the 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature collection. No previous ownership marks. A touch of foxing to bottom margin affecting two pages and several blank prelims; gilt edges fine but for nearly imperceptible mottling to gold on lower fore-edge. A clean, square, otherwise unmarked copy in a very handsome full morocco binding. Near fine. .
