Boston: Balch Brothers Co.. 1904. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾". Later Printings Collectible. H 3/4 Leather. Very Good. 12 volume, uniformly leatherbound (10 volumes numbered I though X, plus first two supplementary volumes). Attractively bound in 3/4 crimson morocco over red marbled boards, gilt-stamped and decorated spines, top edges gilt (minor rubbing chiefly to extremities). Spines are bright and unfaded. Title on spines: John L. Stoddard's Lectures. Illustrated profusely throughout, with well over 1000 b/w photos.

Synopsis

The volumes consist of a series of lectures regarding Berlin, Vienna, St. Petersburg, and Moscow.
