First Edition, one of 1,675 unnumbered copies, Brown cloth spine over gray boards, gilt lettering. The first edition of this book, "John Marr and Some Other Sailors with Some Sea Pieces", appeared anonymously in 1888, printed in an edition of only 25 copies, making this edition, in effect, the first trade edition. Near Fine, no slipcase, small nick to paper boards at top edge. BAL 13725 . SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY EDITOR. Limited First Edition. Cloth Backed Boards. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Association Copy.
