Washington (DC): Government Printing Office. Very Good. 1907. Hardcover. Presumed First Edition, first printing. Blue cloth with gilt title block and lettering. Decorative endpapers with gilt floral pattern. 10.5" X 7". 210 pages. Double frontispiece with original tissue guard. Thirty-six illustrations, some in color, with original tissue guards. Of some interest are the newspaper articles laid in dated 1953 on the subject of John Paul Jones and the: mystery of the "missing months," the history of the American Flag; and a newspaper photograph and caption of Jones' official residence. Worn edges and corners; former owners name written inside otherwise a clean, straight copy. .
