Additional text on cover references a "Tourist Map of Jordan" and "Guide Map of Jerusalem"; these back to back color maps unfold on sheet size 23 ¼ x 16 ¼ inches. Both maps in very good clean condition. Map of "Old City of Jerusalem" (dated 1955) identifies the Christian, Moslem, Jewish, and Armenian Quarters of the city plus the Dome of the Rock area. Armistice Line indicates Israel to the west and a "Demilitarized Zone" to the east. Small inset map of Bethlehem in lower right corner. On verso is Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (dated 1953) with Jewish Occupied Palestine to the west and Syria to the north. Small inset map features the region’s International Boundaries. Map in excellent clean condition. An uncommon map duo. Note on rear cover states "Printed in Egypt by S.O.P.
