Peet arrived in Kuala Lumpur, as the Straits Times' first correspondent stationed in the city, when the Federal Capital was barely half a century old. However, as this personal selection of his articles for the paper demonstrates, Peet's remit stretched throughout the peninsula as it came to grips with being an important part of the British imperial domain. 175 pages. Please see the scan of the contents page for further details. Weight: 0.5kg. Post free within Malaysia The cover has a bit of minor wear, the spine has faded a bit with sunning and the text block has medium tanning. A previous owner's personal name stamp is on the title page. The binding is tight and the text clear with medium to mild tanning throughout. There is medium spotting on the end papers
