About This Item

Austin: Texas Library/Historical, 1912. 1st ed. . Paperback. VG/Wraps. 469 pages. Edited from the original in the Department of State by Ernest William Winkler, who was State Librarian. This publication was prepared to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Texas secession from the Union. Never published in book form before, because the State Treasury had no money at the time. It appeared in newspapers when the convention was in session. This copy never trimmed by the printer, so signatures still joined on top and fore edges. VG/Wraps. Item #: B9865.
