About This Item

Paper Tiger / Collins & Brown, 2000. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. New/As New. Chris Moore. NO PRIORITY PLEASE. CONDIITON: UNREAD, but not quite perfect, 2000 Paper Tiger (Collins & Brown?), hardcover (pictorial boards) & dust jacket (in mylar jacket), first edition, first printing. I admit to being a bit confused as to the publisher - Paper Tiger noted as publisher on the title page, but the credit page lists Collins & Brown (UK) - so this is either a first edition or first thus. Sorry to be confused on this. Wonderful color photos of the artwork. PROBLEM: tiny (really) edge wear top DJ spine (due to size and shelving, IMHO). Decorated end pages. CONTENT: In the field of hi-tech sci-fi art, Chris Moore is without peer. His paintings have graced novels by such prestigious authors as Asimov, Dick, Bova, and Clarke as well as posters, game cards, and advertising. For the first time, a book is devoted solely to his art, with illuminating text by renowned, best-selling writer Steven Gallagher. "A fine introduction to [Moore's] career." Chris Moore attended Maidstone College of Art and the Royal College of Art. Working with a small design group, he began producing book and album covers in the 1970s, and then began a solo career as an illustrator specializing in science fiction.
