Book is divided into ' gates ' with each gate providing access to a time period. First Gate - c.1900 B.C.E., Second Gate - c.950 B.C.E., Third Gate - c. 70 C.E., Fourth Gate - c.600, Fifth Gate - 1099-1250, Sixth Gate - 1250-1492, Seventh Gate - 1492-1650, Eighth Gate - 1650-1750, Ninth Gate - 1799-1850, Tenth Gate - 1897-1948. Introduction by Naftali Kadmon. Book is meant to be read sideways, i.e. pages are consecutive from ' top ' to ' bottom '. All pp. are color illustrated. This is quite a unique and beautiful book ! 132 pp. Brown cloth covered boards have as-new gilt text on spine, decorative ep's and endless illustrations in its descriptions of ' journeys '. Rear bottom corner of spine has a bump, ow, the book is as new. Unclipped DJ is plastic protected and has some tape repairs on the inside. Book weighs nearly 3 lb. and may incur extra shipping costs. Synopsis

Without Remorse is a thriller novel published in 1993 by Tom Clancy and is a part of the "Ryanverse" series. While not the first novel of the series to be published, it is first in plot chronology. The main setting of the book is set during the Vietnam War, in the American city of Baltimore. The book focuses on the development of one of Clancy's recurring characters, John Kelly/John Clark, while providing the character some back-story.
