About This Item
Col. Wall was one of the last leaders of the horse-mounted United States Army Cavalry. What he didn't know about horses isn't worth knowing. In this classic work he and fellow horseman Frank Jennings reveal what to look for when evaluating horses: anatomy, framework, forehand, haunches, muscular action, movement, sprinters, mudders, and much more. Pub by Funk, 1955, 1st ed, hardbound, 208 pp. This particular copy happens to be ex-lib, but because it was shelved in the Reference Section it never circulated outside the library. There's no dj, but the nubbly fabric cover is as handsome as the day it was published (discounting the library labeling. You won't be disappointed. .
