Striking full color title page, cover design and entire book with elaborate gold printed design elements and borders by HEINRICH VOGELER (1872-1942), renowned German painter, book designer, architect and central member of the original artist colony in Worpswede which he joined in 1894. A fine copy of an immensely beautiful and important book.
